What Is HMB?

When you train hard, your muscles go through immense stress. Your body is constantly balancing two processes: breaking down muscle and building it back up. HMB (Beta-Hydroxy Beta-Methylbutyrate) is your defence against muscle breakdown.

HMB is naturally produced by your body from Leucine, an essential amino acid. The problem? Only around 5% of dietary Leucine actually converts into HMB. Getting a performance-enhancing dose from food alone is nearly impossible.

Suggested Use

Daily Dose

Take 4 capsules daily (3,000mg of HMB total).

  • Training Days: 2 capsules after a meal, and 2 capsules immediately after your post workout meal
  • Rest Days: 2 capsules after your morning meal, and 2 capsules after your evening meal

Consistency Is Key

HMB builds up in your system and works best when taken daily not just on training days. The more consistent you are, the better your results.

Hydration

Before taking any supplements in the morning, aim to drink at least 500ml of water first, that's roughly 2 glasses. Throughout the day, aim to drink at least 1.5 to 2 litres of water.
